no cold toes
I rarely take time to review things as I’m just on the go.. however, the reviews that I read about these boots really helped me to decide, so i felt the courtesy should be returned! We live in northern africa and I purchased these boots to be waiting for our girls upon our arrival in the snowy US. I didn’t want to have to waste a moment shopping for boots when we arrived. I ordered, per reviewers recommendations a size bigger for both girls and just to be sure, an extra boot even a bit bigger to suit them if needed. My little one who was just measured as 11 1/2 wore a 12 comfortably if not a bit loosely, however woolen socks made it a good fit. My 6yr old was measured to take a size 12 1/2 wore a 13 a bit loosely but used the strap to tighten. Both girls have rather narrow feet however. So, I think that going a size higher if you have a 1/2 size foot is sufficient. Warmth and comfort really good and not heavy and bulky to enjoy running in the snow. Good on ice too. So,good luck! Back in N. Africa, but used those boots every day for a month and will shift them into the next sizes next winter! Colours are cute as well.

A Great Shoe, But You Have to Get Used to Them
I bought these for my 6 year old daughter. At first she did have a tough time getting them on, however after a week or two of daily wear, they slip on easily. The charm has broken off, but really – who expected this to stay on with normal child’s play? It would be totally unrealistic. We haven’t experienced any loss of the “twinkles” on the toes or had an problems with the elasticity. I am definitely going to buy her another pair soon. She really loves them and they have held up under heavy play.

Cute but small!
I bought these shoes for my daughter for Christmas and while they are very cute they run very small. Unfortunately the site gives no advice on sizing up. After stretching them and trying to loosen the area across the top of the foot we eventually had to cut the tongue open and loosely lace the shoes up with shoelaces.

I mentioned this to friends and lo and behold they had similair experiences. So take my advise order a full size larger and you won’t be disappointed!

Very cute, but….
Way too tight of a fit. My daughter picked these out and as another reviewer stated that they are small, I ordered a size bigger and they are VERY tight to get on. My daughter will not be able to put these on by herself and she is 7. Either cut them ( as suggeted by the other reviewer) or order way bigger. But they are very cute design and look like the picture.
